GLI is seeking an Employee Education Manager who will be responsible for directing and coordinating the community effort to ensure 3,500 working adults return to school and graduate by 2014. This work is funded by a grant from the Lumina Foundation, and will promote and utilize resources and tools for both the employers and employees. This project has numerous opportunities for working with business leaders, college admissions staff and adults who wish to further their educations. This professional will work in a cross-functional team environment and manage committees and community partnership teams. We are looking for someone with creative ideas, project management skills and the ability to work with all people.



Duties:Build productive relationships with partners, education leaders and businesses.

Manage and enhance committee work in place; track success and report to stakeholders.

Work with education team to coordinate projects especially in the area of post secondary institutions (HIRE Connection Committee).

Manage off-site EEDS Counselor.

Utilize key relationships � public and private school system, key post-secondary institutions, metro government, businesses and non-profit and civic organizations to continue to improve the grant products and outcomes.

Manage budget.

Communicate and report to management, stakeholder and partners.

Write, proofread and edit copy for letters, newsletters and speeches.

Manage social media and on-line content of EEDS web site.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree preferred. Advanced degree or at least 5 years experience in the field of education, and proven project management skills.
