GLI is seeking an Education Manager who will be responsible for coordinating and implementing initiatives, events and programs that promote the GLI and 55,000 Degrees goal of more college graduates in our community. This work will center around promoting and evaluating programs that help all students graduate high school college and career ready. This professional will work in a cross-functional team environment and manage community partnership teams. We are looking for someone with creative ideas, project management skills and the ability to work with a wide range of people |
| Duties: | Build productive relationships with partners, education and community leaders.
Manage and enhance committee work in place; track success and report to stakeholders.
Work with education team to identify and manage projects.
Utilize key relationships � public and private school system, key post-secondary institutions, metro government and non-profit and civic organizations to continue to improve our work, be innovative and a system changer.
Formulate proactive education strategies.
Communicate and report to management, stakeholder and partners.
Writing and managing timely process of member communications.
Manage social media and on-line content
Perform other duties as assigned

| Qualifications: | Bachelor�s Degree. Advanced degree or at least 5 years experience in the field of education and or consultative work.

Work is performed at a faster-than-average pace; requires an independent decision maker who is open to collaboration and possess the ability to learn quickly, thoroughly, and in detail
Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to work with top-level executives.
