As part of the GLI team you will be responsible for developing long-term goals and strategic objectives to support GLI's vision of Louisville becoming the Idea Capital of the World.
GLI is hiring a great thinker to provide leadership and insights into our strategy and execution. This includes providing expertise for sound marketing strategies and market analysis. This person will be the 'go to' team leader for what's going on in the Greater Louisville region and the larger marketplace as it impacts GLI's goals and success. This professional will help GLI innovate and the team to make better decisions. | Duties: | As part of the team you will:
Manage GLI�s data, information, research and knowledge and lead that team.
Help design and leverage CRM and other internal and external databases.
Lead creation of product and service marketing plans strategies, supported by both customer and market data with goal to affect profitability, growth and productivity.
Frame, research, develop and collate market intelligence and develop reports and plans with actionable data on key target companies for marketing purposes.
Provide summary thoughts and ensure information is properly packaged for ease of analysis.
Consolidate, publish, and manage data and information from multiple sources in a manner that can be stored and shared throughout GLI.
Recognize tools or process changes that can increase the efficiency, quality, or �share-ability� of the research and be prepared to recommend changes or request budget during the annual process.
Liaise with product Managers and Team Leaders to examine and scrutinize market statistical data to project future marketing trends and to forecast business needs sales and services.
Develop standard reporting packets as well as ad-hoc requests and serves as a floating resource internally and externally.
Develop and maintain relationships with key regional and national analysts and content experts.
Identify and manage external resources for special projects that require peak labor staffing or specialized labor.
Conduct periodic pricing/value analyses of existing services to support internal investment decisions and budgeting efforts.
Perform other duties as assigned

| Qualifications: | Bachelor�s degree plus eight (8) to ten (10) years of work experience in a market research business environment with emphasis on research and strategy. A combination of education and experience may be substituted when proficiency is demonstrated.
Technical Skills necessary to assure results are achieved.
Ability to work in a fun, fast-paced environment.
