As part of the GLI team you will be responsible for driving the community-wide strategy and plan around the Lifelong Wellness & Aging Care economic development strategy.
GLI is hiring a professional to be responsible for developing and driving the community-wide strategy around Lifelong Wellness & Aging Care, a growing economic development sector strategy. The role entails marketing and positioning Louisville as the world leader in this industry, and engaging community partners to achieve targeted results. From client/project management to network development, the job will help our region measure success in the Lifelong Wellness and Aging Care sector by creating jobs and enabling capital investment.

| Duties: | As part of the team you will:
Write the L W & A C business plan
Drive the implementation of the strategy and associated plan
Convene community partners and work through and with them to achieve results
Market Louisville as the World Capital for L W & A C
Maintain client relationships beyond active projects
Manage client projects
Develop partner relationships regionally, locally and at the state level
Maintain databases, client management software and other reporting requirements
Achieve performance goals set around job creation and investment

| Qualifications: | Bachelor's degree plus two (2) to (4) years experience in business environment. A combination of education and experience may be substituted when proficiency is demonstrated. Advanced degree preferred.
Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to work with top level executives.
Experience in economic development or in a client approach to business consultation.
