| Description: | Under general supervision, the international coordinator will help us develop new programs for Greater Louisville International Professionals focused on strengthening our organization�s mission of engaging and connecting our members through event planning, marketing and promotion, and outreach.
This is an part-time position with a one year assignment as it is funded by a private foundation.
Hours: 25-30 hours a week avg., flexible hours with availability to work evenings and weekends for events.

| Duties: | Provide direct support to the Manager of Global Engagement, Greater Louisville Inc.
Amazing Global Marketplace: responsible for scheduling and coordinating all meetings associated with mentors, speakers, teachers, and staff. Assist in ensuring that all teams stay on track with their curriculum. Interact with prospective members, mentors and students. Attend weekly meetings and update systems accordingly
Outreach to community organizations, businesses, and international talent to build membership. Follow up with new members and engage them to GLIP by inviting them to events, introducing them to other members, resources and ambassadors.
Responsible for updating all content on GLIP website
Responsible for updating GLIP social media to promote events, programs, and recruit members
Responsible for creating monthly newsletter for GLIP members. Newsletter has to be approved by marketing and GLIP Manager before it is sent. Newsletter is to be sent no later than the end of the first week of each month.
Conduct orientation for new members to engage them with the city and GLIP
Coordinate international monthly dinners. Attend monthly dinners if GLIP manager is not available.
Attend community and social events at GLIP functions and assigned partner events.
Assist registration and event team at GLIP events.
Act as main liaison to GLIP at Family Resources Group. Actively participate at meetings and provide GLI resources to market and execute successful FRG programs
Maintain accurate GLIP database information by updating Magnet Mail.
Match Mentors and Prot�g�s according to procedures
Perform other duties as assigned

| Qualifications: | Qualifications: High school diploma with an associate degree (or higher) plus two years of professional experience. The applicant may be enrolled in four year degree or more in business related field.
Bi-lingual skills in Spanish-English preferred.
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills in English. Can demonstrate proficient skills for public speaking. Must be able to organize and coordinate multiple projects. Must be detail oriented and demonstrate ability to interact with all levels of professionals.
General knowledge and experience working with an international audience.
A combination of education, experience and training may be substituted when competency in the position is demonstrated.
Must be able to pass any required drug test and must be able to maintain the confidentiality of any information s/he encounters.

Specialized Skills and Knowledge:
The incumbent must have computer skills. Experience with the following types of software and/or Windows based applications is preferred: word processing, databases, Internet, e-mail. Experience with social media is preferred.
